Everything you need to know about Nico Bedon's online CrossFit coaching programs, covering how they work, what's included, and how to get started.
Nico Bedon has competed at the elite level since 2024, including CrossFit Semifinals, Wodapalooza, and World Fitness Project. His online coaching programs bring that same competitive standard to athletes around the world.
There are three programs: True South LATAM (Spanish-language programming for Latin American athletes), True South Elite (English, high-performance programming), and The Condor Protocol (fully personalised 1-on-1 coaching with Nico directly). All programs run through TrueCoach, a professional athlete tracking app.
You do not need to be an advanced athlete. True South LATAM and True South Elite cater to all levels from scaled to RX to elite. Every workout includes multiple variations so you train at the right intensity for where you are right now.
- Scaled: Modified movements, lighter loads, perfect if you're still building foundational skills
- Intermediate / RX: Standard CrossFit movements and loads
- Elite / Competition: Full competitive volume for athletes chasing the Open, Semifinals, or beyond
The Condor Protocol (1-on-1) is built entirely around your individual history, goals, and level, so it adapts to whoever you are.
All programs are delivered through TrueCoach, a professional coaching app where you receive your daily workouts, log your results, and communicate with your coach.
For True South LATAM and Elite: After signing up via Stripe, you'll receive step-by-step instructions to set up your TrueCoach account. Your 7-day free trial activates within 1-2 business days. Your full program begins on the Monday following your trial.
For The Condor Protocol (1-on-1): After signing up, you'll complete an athlete onboarding survey. Once Nico reviews it, you'll get your personalised TrueCoach setup built around your goals, equipment, and schedule.
Program start schedule:
- Sign-ups received by Friday 11:59 PM ET start the following Monday
- Sign-ups after Friday midnight start the Monday after next
- You'll get a welcome message in TrueCoach when your program goes live
For True South LATAM and Elite: The programs are designed for a fully equipped CrossFit gym: barbell, plates, squat rack, pull-up bar, rower, assault or echo bike, kettlebells, and jump rope. If you're missing a piece of equipment, substitutes are always given in the workout notes.
For The Condor Protocol (1-on-1): During your onboarding survey you list exactly what you have. Nico then assigns you to the right track:
- Gym Track: Full equipment: barbell, rack, rower or air bike, kettlebells, jump rope, wall ball
- Limited Equipment Track: Barbell, dumbbells, rope, minimal space
Your program is built around your actual setup, not a theoretical gym.
The programs run 5-6 training days per week with one or two rest days built in. Each session covers a structured mix of Strength, Conditioning (MetCon), and Skill work.
Session length depends on the day's focus, typically 60 to 90 minutes for a full session. Conditioning-only days can be shorter. The Condor Protocol adapts session length to your individual schedule and goals.
True South LATAM ($35/month): Spanish-language CrossFit programming built for Latin American athletes. Scaled to Elite variations, 5-6 days per week, delivered via TrueCoach.
True South Elite ($50/month): English-language high-performance CrossFit programming. Built for athletes competing in or preparing for the CrossFit Open, Semifinals, and beyond. Scaled to Elite variations, 5-6 days per week.
The Condor Protocol ($150/month): Fully personalised 1-on-1 coaching with Nico. Your program is built from scratch around your goals, fitness history, equipment, and schedule. Includes weekly check-ins, video feedback on your lifts, and nutrition and recovery guidance. Very limited spots.
No. While the programming is built with competition performance in mind, many athletes use it to prepare for the CrossFit Open, Regionals, and Semifinals. You don't need to compete to benefit from it.
Every session includes scaled options, so whether you're training for your first competition or simply want a structured, high-quality program, you're in the right place. The goal is to make you better, whatever that looks like for you.
All plans are month-to-month, no minimum commitment. Cancel any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. No partial refunds for unused time in an active period.
Membership pause: If you need a break, you can request a pause for qualifying reasons including medical issues or injury, maternity leave, extended travel, or financial hardship. Submit your request to help@nicobedon.com at least 2 business days before your next billing date. Minimum pause is 4 weeks; maximum is 16 weeks per calendar year. Approval is not automatic and is subject to review.
